We are happy to announce that in 2008 we will be adding a new member to the Mahokenatez Clan! Kate is currently 11 weeks pregnant and on January 2nd we had our first appointment with Kat Miller C.N.M. During this appointment we heard our little baby's heart beat for the first time. Kate's "due date" is July 31st and we have no idea what is in store for us over the next 7 months but we are looking forward to the adventure. Our next visit to see Kat is scheduled for January 30th. Kate will be receiving a full work up and we should have more information the first week of February.We're very excited for this huge change in our lives--our only regret is that we are not closer to you all so that we can share the experience first hand. So, our hope is that this blog helps bridge the gap:)

Paula and I are really happy for you both. Your lives will be changing, but for the better. You'll both be wonderful parents. We don't know when we'll be driving through next, but we fly out to Cali on the 17th. Natalie's 3rd B'day, and Grandma can't miss it don't ya know....
